But, when Paradox - the devourer of certainty and the architect of endless possibilities - reared its ugly head, the very fabric of Aeon was torn apart.
Time stood still. Not only did the past, present and future stop progressing, they collapsed. Every possible history and timelines unfolded at once, with infinite realities overlapping in a storm of contradictions. When the Aeon is in this state - what was once the truth is now nothing more than mere fragments of realities.
From this chaos, legendary Champions from every class and every age are pulled from their worlds into this unfamiliar singularity - a state where each Champion existed in every single world, era and timelines. Some are standing by as comrades when they should have been foes, others are never supposed to meet as ancestors cross paths with their descendents. None belong where they are, and yet all are bound by the same, single purpose forced upon them.
You see, Aeon cannot remain shattered forever. Indeed, the restoration of time and continuity is straightforward - only one class can forge ahead, only their timeline can continue. The equation is simple: the Champions of each class must prove their supremacy over the rest and emerge as the sole victors. Only then will they possess the strength to challenge Paradox, restore Aeon, and continue their legacy.
